Ray A. Berry's Obituary
Ray Berry, Jr., 52, of Alliance, joined his son Christian in heaven on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 11:18 p.m. at his home, surrounded by family and friends.
Ray was born on January 14, 1965 in Alliance, Ohio and was a 1983 graduate of West Branch High School.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of B.P.O. Elks, Lodge #467 Alliance.
Ray was employed at Alliance Country Club for 18 years as Dining Room Manager prior to owning his own flower shop, The Enchanted Garden. Before retiring, he was a floral specialist at Giant Eagle for 12 years.
Ray will always be remembered for his sarcastic wit and impeccable fashion sense. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, interior decorating, spending winters in Florida, but especially enjoyed his time spent with family and friends.
Survivors include wife, Kelli (Brooks) Berry, whom he married on October 17, 1992; two daughters, Brooke (Brian) Moore of Beloit, Mackenzie Berry of Alliance; two grandchildren, Brayden Moore and Brylee Moore; his mother and step-father, Lynn and Kellogg McMichael of Florida; two sisters, Melissa Berry of Alliance and Kellie (Shawn) Hoyle of Salem; his brother, Rick McMichael of Salem; and several nieces and nephews.
Welcoming Ray to his eternal home, he and his son Christian will inevitably bring laughter and chaos to the heavenly realm.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 10:00 am at Regina Coeli Catholic Church, with Rev. Thomas P. Dyer, as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
