Randy Domer's Obituary
Randy Jack Domer, 78, of Damascus, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 5:50 pm at Canterbury Villa of Alliance.
Born on September 19, 1946 in Los Angeles, California to Samuel and Betty (Kreis) Domer, he lived in Damascus for most of his life.
Randy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a Eucharistic minister, and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Rev. Joseph P. Conlon Assembly 4th Degree.
A 1964 graduate of Atwater High School, he was a veteran of the Vietnam Era, serving our country in the U.S. Army as an aide to Major General Edwin Burba.
Randy was a supervisor at General Motors Lordstown and retired after 35 years of service and was a former member of the UAW.
Randy served at the Tuesday night Community Dinner.
He was proprietor of Spotlight Video, and enjoyed doing yardwork, but especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann (Gallina) Domer, whom he married on April 9, 1966; two daughters, Denise (Perry) Ring of Gastonia, NC and Michelle (Andrew) Zumbar of Alliance; his son, Michael Domer of Alliance; four grandchildren, Kyle Ring, Anna Zumbar, Anthony Zumbar and Adam Zumbar; sister, Cindy (Roger) Short of TX; three sisters-in-law, Lynda Hofer, Sue Gallina and Betsy Domer; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Bryan and Jeffrey Domer.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
