Pluma Florence "Sis" (Clark) Williamson's Obituary
Pluma Florence "Sis" (Clark) Williamson, 74, of Alliance, went home to the Lord on Monday, December 5, 2005, at 8:10 a.m. at her home following a long illness. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Sis was born in Toronto, Ohio, on March 2, 1931, and moved to Alliance in 1955. She attended Toronto High School and was formerly employed at the Norge Village Dry Cleaners & Laundry. Mrs. Williamson attended the Beechwood United Methodist Church and the Tuesday Morning Ladies Bowling League at Parkway Lanes. She enjoyed family, friends, cooking, bowling, gardening and walking. She is survived by her husband, Robert K. Williamson, whom she married on June 21, 1948; three sons, John (Sheila) Williamson of Alliance, Kenneth A. Williamson and James R. Williamson both of Alliance; a daughter Kathryn "Kay" (Jerry) Markle of Alliance; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jason) Stephens of North Benton, Crystal (Darrick) Miller of Homeworth, Kenneth A. Williamson II of Alliance, Amanda (Nick) Loar of Beloit, Matthew Markle and Jessica Markle, both of Alliance; three great-grandsons, Dylan Stephens, Kyle Stephens and Johnathan Miller, all of Alliance; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Pluma Florence (Skeels) Clark; and three brothers, Arthur, Francis, and Wilmont Clark. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 7, 2005, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery in Toronto, Ohio, on Thursday, December 8, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Miller of Salem United Methodist Church officiating. Internment will follow.
