Phyllis A. (Reynolds) Woods' Obituary
Phyllis A. (Reynolds) Woods, 77, of Alliance, formerly of Atwater, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, 12:20 p.m., following reoccurring M.S. She was born on July 23, 1929 in Alliance and had lived in the Alliance and Atwater areas all of her life. Mrs. Woods attended The Chapel in Marlboro. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and canning but especially loved spending time with her family. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Herbert A. Woods Sr.; a daughter, Diane (Gary) Hunt of Alliance; a son, Herbert A. (Ginger) Woods Jr. of Berlin Center; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Charlotte Kinsey of Alliance and Donna Christian of Springfield, OH; a brother, Kenneth Reynolds of Amado, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Almond and Susie (Harrison) Reynolds; four sisters, Edith Marshall and Hazel Carver, Pauline Marckel, Viola Seifert; and two brothers, Harold Reynolds and Albert Reynolds. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, May 4, 2007 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Joel Cochran of The Chapel in Marlboro officiating. Interment will follow at Atwater Cemetery.
