Phyllis E. Aberegg's Obituary
Phyllis E. Aberegg, 93, of Alliance, died on Saturday, October 21, 2006, at 12:35 p.m. at Roselawn Terrace in Alliance. Phyllis was born on June 19, 1913 in E. Liverpool, Ohio and lived in Alliance since 1955. Mrs. Aberegg loved to play bingo especially with her friends at Roselawn Terrace. She is survived by one son, Kenneth L. Aberegg of Alliance; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bernice Chevraux of Louisville, Lois Ringer of Louisville, and Martha Mowen of Warren; one brother, Eugene Thorn of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Aberegg, Jr. on May 2, 1999, whom she married on July 2, 1937; her son, Marvin R. Aberegg; her parents, Eugene and Mabel (Williamson) Thorn; two sisters, Rose White and Helen Schaub; and two brothers, Lewis Thorn and Clifford Thorn. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph A. Peters, officiating. Interment will follow at Palmyra West Cemetery in Palmyra, Ohio. There will be no calling hours.
