Pete J. Polverine's Obituary
Pete J. Polverine, 76, of Alliance, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at his home. He was born on September 8, 1934 in Alliance, and lived in Alliance all of his life. He attended Alliance High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He retired from the Heiser Sand and Gravel and in his past time he enjoyed spending time with his family and working on projects in his garage. He is survived by his wife, Lucille (Girardini) Polverine, whom he married on September 29, 1956; his daughter, Diane (Dale) Scott and their children; Angela Wilson and Steven (Ashley) Scott, and great-grandson, Travis; his daughter, Susan (Dan) Amabeli and their twin daughters Rachel and Julie all of Alliance; two sisters, Emma Beach and Margaret Eberling both of Alliance; one brother, Tony Polverine of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Pete and Josephine (Ferro) Polverine; and five brothers, Vincent, Joseph, Harry, Aldo and Bruno. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, March 14, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, March 14, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. with Terry Vicars officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
