Peggy Bell's Obituary
Marguerite "Peggy" (Smith) Bell, 73, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 7:22 p.m. at Canterbury Villa in Alliance.
Born on July 27, 1947 in Alliance, to Raymond "Bud" and Louise (Galieti) Smith, she lived in Canton most of her life.
A 1965 graduate of Alliance High School, Peggy was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.
She was employed at Ohio Bell and Southern Bell as an operator for 10 years and then was employed with Stark County Board of Elections for over 16 years.
Peggy was a Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. She enjoyed shopping, yardwork, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband James Bell, whom she married on November 16, 1968; son, Nick (Amy) Bell of Canton; daughter, Lori (Mike) McQuiston of Linesville, PA; two grandchildren, Maisy and Avery Bell; sister, Dianne (Dave) Mower of Traverse City, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Private Services will be held.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Canterbury Villa for the excellent care they gave Peggy.
