Pauline J. Weisenburger's Obituary
Pauline J. Weisenburger, 81, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, December 08, 2009, at 4:50 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on December 25, 1927 in Sebring, had lived in the Alliance-Sebring area all of her life and was a graduate of Alliance High School. Mrs. Weisenburger was a member of the First Baptist Church. Pauline had worked for several area businesses including, Woolworth s as a clerk, Gray s Drug Store as a clerk and Alliance Ware as an assembler. In her past-time, she enjoyed fishing and playing bingo. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Gallion of Millersburg; three sons, Harold R., Jr. of Alliance, Wayne W. of Homeworth and Kenneth Allen Weisenburger of Alliance; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Harold R. "Windy" Weisenburger, Sr. on March 9, 1996, whom she married on February 19, 1947; her parents, John L. and Anna Edna (Michel) Sparren; a sister, Carol Ann Sparren; and two brothers, Delbert and James Sparren. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church on Monday, December 14, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gordon Thomas officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
