Pauline Marie Marckel's Obituary
Pauline Marie Marckel, 84, of Alliance, died on Thursday, February 7, 2002, at 12:35 a.m., at Canterbury Villa of Alliance. Born in Diamond, Ohio on February 14, 1917, she lived most of her life in the Alliance area and was a member of the First Immanuel United Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Earl Marckel of the home, whom she married on February 14, 1935; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Harry Shilling of Alliance; a son and daughter-in-law, James Earl and Donna Marckel of Findlay; granddaughter & spouse, Sheri and Bob Hatherill; grandson and wife, Ted & Mindy Shilling; grandson, Jason Marckel; granddaughter, Julie Marckel; three great-grandchildren, Dustin Hatherill, Abby Hatherill, and Brian Shilling; four sisters, Viola Seifert of Alliance, Charlotte Kinsey of Alliance, Phyllis Woods of Alliance and Donna Jean Christman of Pioche, Nevada; and a brother, Kenneth Reynolds of Amado, Arizona. Preceding her in death were her parents, Almond Clark and Suzanne (Harrison) Reynolds; two sisters Edith Marshall and Hazel Carver; and two brothers, Harold and Albert Reynolds. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, February 9, 2002, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. David Hostettler, officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.
