Paul C. "Peppy" Mazzei's Obituary
Paul C. "Peppy" Mazzei, 38, of Alliance, died on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 6:52 p.m. as results of a motorcycle accident on State Route 43. Born on December 26, 1972 in Alliance, he lived in Alliance all of his life and was a graduate of Alliance High School. He was employed at PCC Airfoils in Minerva where he was a Union Steward. Peppy was a member of social member of the Christopher Columbus Society and the Loyal Order of the Moose. In his past-time, he enjoyed life to the fullest not taking anything for granted. He loved spending time with his beloved cats, "Freddie" & "Bubba" and his dog "Baby Seal". He also enjoyed riding his bike and gardening. He is survived by two sons, Jacob and Braden Mazzei of North Benton; three sisters, Tammy (Brent) Minger of Alliance, Valerie (Norm) Lewis of Alliance and Tina (Phillip) Smith of Paris; nieces, Stacy (Rodney) Minger, Melissa Lewis, & Kerissa (Justin) Lewis; and nephews, Brent Minger, and Philip, Kyle & Chad Smith; and four great nieces and three great nephews; and several aunts, uncles & cousins. Preceding him in death was his parents, Rudolph C. "Peppy" and Patricia (Kuntzman) Mazzei. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18, 2011, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. and also on Friday, August 19, 2011, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Herbert Smith, officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
