Paul Losh 's Obituary
Paul Losh, 94, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 12:57 pm at Altercare of Alliance.
He was born on October 19, 1922 in Ellsworth, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Ann (Harvilla) Losh. He lived in New Cumberland, Pa most of his life, only recently moving to the Alliance area to be near family.
A veteran of World War II, he was a career officer, serving our country in the U.S. Army for 21 years, retiring as Sergeant.
Following his Army career, Paul lived in New Cumberland, PA and was employed in the janitorial department with New Cumberland Schools.
Paul was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in New Cumberland, PA, as well as the VFW Post 7415 and the American Legion Post 143.
Survivors include his niece, Velma (David) Traphagan of Alliance, OH; and several other nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Ann Banchi; and four brothers, Joseph Losh, Thomas Losh, Steve Losh and John Losh.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, at a later date. Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Alliance.
