Paul William Kirkpatrick 's Obituary
Paul William Kirkpatrick, 80, of Alliance, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 8:28 am at Alliance Community Hospital.
Born on November 19, 1934 in Proctor District, West Virginia to Frank and Etta (Henry) Kirkpatrick, he lived in Alliance for most of his life and was a member of Alliance Church of Christ.
A U.S. Army veteran, Paul was employed at Alliance City Street Department and retired after 30 years of service. After retirement, he worked at J.C. Penney, was a school crossing guard for Alliance School District, and worked at various gas stations
Survivors include his wife, Mabel (Householder) Kirkpatrick, whom he married on July 17, 1964; three daughters, Cheryl (Glenn) Van Orsdale of Alliance, Cathy (David) Carlile of Homeworth, and Susan (Eddie) Alvarez of Las Vegas, NV; three sons, William (Jeanie) Conner of Alliance, David Conner of Conroe, TX, and Robert (Lena) Conner of Alliance; 19 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his daughter, Barbara Parkison; his parents; and eight brothers.
The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
His Funeral Service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00 am, with David Ray, of Alliance Church of Christ, officiating.
Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
