Paul W. Grossenbacher's Obituary
Paul Wesley Grossenbacher, 74, of Alliance, died on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at 7:25 p.m. at Community Care Center in Alliance. He was born on March 19, 1933 in Cameron, Ohio and lived in Alliance most of his life. After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the U. S. Army, he was employed at Transue & Williams for 20 years. He then was employed at East Manufacturing in Randolph, where he retired. Paul enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. He is survived by a daughter, Susan (Dennis) Parrish of Modoc, Indiana; two sons, Jeffery (Prudy) Grossenbacher of Edinburg and Scott (Melissa) Grossenbacher of Louisville; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Michaels of Pheonix, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded him in death was his wife, Velma (Stewart) Grossenbacher on February 3, 2007, whom he married on May 17, 1952; his parents, Eugene and Ella (Cain) Grossenbacher; and three brothers, James, Glenn and Raymond Grossenbacher. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Randy Payne, Pastor of Alliance Baptist Temple, officiating. Interment, will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
