Paul J. Frank's Obituary
Paul J. Frank, 90, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 2:00 am at Altercare of Alliance.
Born on January 8, 1935 in Alliance to Otto and Marie (Gulling) Frank, he lived in Alliance all of his life.
Paul was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church.
He served our country in the U.S. Army and was employed at Alliance Machine Co. as a Crane Operator for 46 years.
He obtained a First Class FCC License to operate a radio station and worked 8 years at WDPN part time.
Paul was a loyal blood donor and gave over 25 gallons. He delivered Meals on Wheels for 7 years.
Paul could be seen all over the Alliance area, where he walked over 111,000 miles.
Survivors include his wife, Florence L. (Garr) Frank, whom he married on August 27, 1960; two daughters, Connie (Todd) Teal of North Canton and Donna (Mike) Emigh of North Georgetown; his son, Ken (Joanne) Frank of Copley; five grandchildren, Joel (Haley) Teal, Chelsea (Casey) Neer, Ashley (Mark) Prues, Rachel Caton and Emily Caton; two great-grandchildren, Elliot Neer and Peyton Prues; two sisters, Marlene Smith and Vivian Krabill, both of Alliance; a sister-in-law, Joyce Frank of North Canton; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; four sisters, Sr. Helen Mary Frank, Catherine (John) Skolosh, Rita (Bill) Resh and Margaret (Virgil) Brown; six brothers, Harold (Judy) Frank, Richard A. (Pauline) Frank, Sr., Robert (Mary) Frank, Bernard (Helen) Frank, Arthur (Joyce) Frank and Edward (Mildred) Frank.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 11:00 am at Regina Coeli Catholic Church, with Rev. Matt Humerickhouse as celebrant. Burial, with military honors, will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
