Paul "Buck" Cook's Obituary
Paul "Buck" Cook, 52, of Alliance, died on Thursday, March 13, 2008 following an auto accident. He was born on February 27, 1956 in Elkins, WV, and had lived in Alliance since 1966. A 1974 graduate of Marlington High School, Paul was employed as a truck driver for G & S Transfer. Mr. Cook was a member of the Eagles in Louisville and the NRA. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley and was known by his grandchildren as Grandpa Harley. He is survived by his longtime girlfriend Cindy Cole; two sons, Jason (Georgiana) Cook of Marlboro and David (Megan) Cook of Louisville; three grandchildren, Nicole, Cody and Damon; his parents, Paul and Betty (Day) Cook; one brother, Cliff (Dana) Cook of Canton South; and three nieces and one nephew. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, March 17, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Marlboro Cemetery.
