Oscar R. Inherst's Obituary
Oscar Inherst, Jr., 82, of Alliance, died on Friday, March 9, 2007, at 5:30 p.m. at his home. He was born on February 2, 1925 in New Philadelphia, Ohio and lived in Alliance most of his life. Mr. Inherst retired from Transue & Williams and enjoyed camping and fishing. He is survived by two daughters, Mary (David) Miller of Alliance and Shirley (Rick) West of Alliance; four sons, Steve Inherst of Alliance, William (Carol) Inherst of Enid, OK, Richard Inherst of Alliance and Brad (Star) Inherst of Alliance; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Inherst and Irene Horn, both of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Oscar and Isabelle (Thomas) Inherst, Sr.; a sister, Marilyn Inherst; a brother, Charles Inherst; and one nephew. Funeral services will be held at Highland Memorial Park Chapel on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. with Brad Inherst and Margaret Bowman officiating. Interment will follow. There will be no calling hours.
