Ona L. Geiger's Obituary
Ona L. Geiger, 71, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, August 27, 2002, at her hame. Born in Salineville on May 1, 1931, she had lived in Alliance most of her life. She was the owner of the former Ona's Colonial Hair and Gift Shop. She is survived by her husband, Bruce W. Geiger whom she married on July 19, 1954; a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Brian Stoudt of Minerva; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Artie Geiger of Homeworth, and Robert and Lou Ann Geiger of Beloit; seven grandchildren, Rebekah Nilges, Melinda Stoudt, B.J. Geiger, Tommy Geiger, Keri Geiger, Katie Geiger, and Ellie Geiger; two brothers, Fred W. Catlett of East Rochester and Alvin Catlett of Pairs, Oh. Preceding her in death was her parents, Fred Catlett and Bernice (Hull) Catlett Morrow. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, August 30, 2002, at 1:00 p.m. with Arthur Guy, minister of Community Christian, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, August 29, 2002, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
