Odith M. Odie Clark's Obituary
Odith M. Odie Clark, 68, of Alliance, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 12:45 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. He was born on October 24, 1945 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to Jesse and Madge (Middleton) Clark and lived in Alliance for most of his life. An Alliance High School Graduate, Odie retired as a Health and Safety Trainer from GM - Lordstown after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, UAW, and the Dante Aligheri Society. Odie enjoyed fishing, had a passion for cars, an expert card player, loved traveling, casinos, and was an avid follower of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and the OSU Buckeyes. Odie is survived by his two daughters, Renee L. Clark of Alliance, Tracey L. Clark-Reed of Columbus; a son, Richard L. (Ula) Clark of Middleburg; five grandsons, Aaron M. Ring, Kyle E. Holbrook, Shane C. Rognon, Alexander B. Clark, Cameron M. Rognon; two granddaughters, Emily L. Ring, Ashlyn R. Young; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Middleton of Olive Hill, KY; two nieces, Jessica Dawn Clark-Hall and Krystal Clark-Lozoya; several other nieces and nephews; and a father figure to many. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise M. (Tomerine) Clark; his parents; and a brother, Donald J. Clark. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Larry Murphy, of the First Church of God, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
