Norma Faye Russo's Obituary
Norma Faye Russo, 88, of Alliance, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 in Alliance after a sudden illness.
She was born on June 25, 1936 in Ansted, West Virginia to the late Adolph Schott Jr. and Lizzy (Warren) Schott.
Norma was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
A 1954 graduate of Ansted High School, Norma was employed by Alliance City Schools in Food Services at the Alliance High School cafeteria, retiring in 2006 after many years of service.
She was an Avon Representative for more than 40 years.
Norma enjoyed bowling, playing cards, Scrabble, and going to casinos. Her co-workers and friends were a big part of her life.
Survivors include her two daughters, Karen Davis and Diane Hall both of Alliance; three sons, Charles M. (Carol) Russo of Cheyenne, WY, John A. Russo of Alliance and Anthony Russo of Alliance; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her brother, Eugene (Karen) Schott of TX; her sister, Helen Pridemore of Ansted, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Charles F Russo, who passed away unexpectedly in 1990; her parents; and her siblings, Alice Smith, Mary Lyons, John Richard Schott and Betty Wood.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 9:30 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am. A private burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
