Norma Jean "Jean" Fasone's Obituary
Norma Jean "Jean" Fasone, 80, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at 7:15 p.m. at Canterbury Villa of Alliance. She was born on September 4, 1929 in Canton, and lived in Alliance most of her life. Jean was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In her past-time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. She is survived by a son, Samuel "Steve" (Jan) Fasone of Alliance; three grandchildren, Autumn (Shaun) Cassidy, Steven R. Fasone and Scott A Fasone; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Sam Fasone on November 25, 2003, whom she married on February 8, 1947; her father, Owen Gonser; two sisters, Marian Gertz and Glenna Allen; and a brother, Richard Gonser. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
