Nickolas A. "Nicky" Johnson, age 7, of Alliance, was born in Alliance on February 28, 1995, and died on Sunday, September 29, 2002, at Alliance Community Hcfspital. Survivors include his mother and stepfather Michelle Brion and Donald Widla II; his father Steve Johnson of Montrose, Minn; his sister, Brittany Johnson of the home; grandparents Joanne & Luther Layne of Alliance, grandmother Pat Johnson of Alliance, grandfather Dennis Johnson of Canton, grandfather David Brion of Sebring, grandparents Don and Linda Widla 'of Alliance; great-grandparents; several aunts and uncles; many cousins, and his nurses, Kathy, Jacquie, and Martha. Preceding him in death was his uncle David Alan Brion. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, October 4, 2002, at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Gordon W. Ruggles officiating. Burial will follow a Highland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 -1:30 p.m.
