Nick Berletich's Obituary
Nick Berletich, 75, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2003, at 5:49 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. A lifelong resident of Alliance, born on January 29, 1928, he was a U. S. Army Air Corps veteran. Mr. Berletich retired after 30 years of service from Transue and Williams as a diesinker and was later employed at the former Ford Motor Company in Canton. He was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Survivors include his wife, Mona L. (Randall) Berletich (they were married on February 5, 1949); daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Craig Oyster of Seven Hills; son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Sherry Berletich of Alliance, son and daughter-in-law, David and Suzanne Berletich of Rochester Hills, MI, and son Terry Berletich of Lake Placid, FL; five grandchildren; three sisters, Catherine Force, Barbara Muzevich, and Mary Ann Brown; three brothers, Steve, Mark, and George Berletich; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Berletich on March 18, 1971; his parents, Marco and Mary Ann (Stokan) Berletich; and two brothers, John and Frank Berletich. Calling Hours, which are open to the public, will be held at the Sharer-Stirling- Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Private funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday. Burial, with Military Honors will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
