Nellie (Ferlotti) Gang's Obituary
Nellie (Ferlotti) Gang, 88, of Alliance, died on April 6, 2004 at Community Care Center. A lifelong resident of Alliance, she was born on December 25, 1915, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She had previously been employed at the former Persky's Market House, former Breteans Market, and former Jeannette's Restaurant. Nellie was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Dante Alighieri Society. She was a charter member of one of her favorite card clubs, Wee Clique for approximately 70 years. She also enjoyed playing golf and playing cards. She is survived by her sister, Sr. Philip Ferlotti, O.P., of Richfield, OH, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Gang on June 13, 1990, (they were married on August 19, 1957); her parents, Philip and Caroline (Guiffre) Ferlotti; a sister, Angie Vuksta; and two brothers, Joe and Charles Ferlotti. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht officiating. Friends may call at the Sharer- Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
