Nancy "Marjorie" Blevins' Obituary
Nancy Marjorie Mosier Blevins of Alliance, Ohio, died Sunday morning, Feb. 11, 2007, at home. She was born September 10, 1921, in Grahn, Ky., moving to Alliance in 1954. She retired from D-Con, Company after 20 years as a machine operator. She had been a member of the Independent Baptist Church on Cambridge Street since 1971. Surviving are her daughters, Darlene (Bryan) Ritchie of Alliance and Cynthia (Jerry) Booth of Atwater; ! sons, Ted Blevins of Jerico Springs, Mo., Wylie (Debbi) Blevins of North Jackson, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Blevins; her father, Charley Robert Mosier; her mother, Annebell Benion Mosier; her son, Jim Blevins; her great-grandson, Harley Blevins; her daughter, Myrtle Ann Blevins; brothers, Arvill Mosier and Charles Mosier; and sisters, Hazel Mosier, Goldie Mosier, Virginia Nichols and Gertrude Carroll. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Globe Funeral Home in Olive Hill, Ky., with Pastors Burl Middleton and Ury Barker officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Globe Funeral Home. Burial will be at Carroll Cemetery on Rattlesnake Ridge near Olive Hill, Ky.
