Miriam Murawski's Obituary
Miriam A. Murawski, 87, of Alliance, passed peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 6:57 am at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio.
Born on May 6, 1935 in Alliance, Ohio to Earl and Mable (Myers) Mergenthaler, she lived in Alliance all of her life.
Miriam was a member of Maximo Zion Church.
She managed Lawsons Convenient Stores as a Regional Manager and retired after 23 years.
Miriam loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Becky Davis-Roberts of Alliance; four sons, Frank (Patty) Taylor of Alliance, Dana Taylor of Canton, Terry Taylor of Canton and Robert (Robin) Taylor of Secaucus, NJ; ten grandchildren, Hunter Taylor, Hampton Taylor, Jennifer Taylor, Stephanie Taylor, T.J. Taylor, Tiffany Taylor, Cory Taylor, Cassandra Davis-Orzo, Trevor Taylor, Tealee Taylor; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marlene Haines of Marlboro; two brothers, Norman Mergenthaler and Jerry Mergenthaler both of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Steve Taylor; three grandchildren, Frankie Taylor, Jessica Taylor and Eric Scott Taylor; first husband, Franklin "Gene" Taylor; second husband, Sigmund "Ziggy" Murawski; three sisters, Evelyn Worley, Dolores Nezbeth, Dorothy E. Gall; and three brothers, Earl, Robert and Richard Mergenthaler.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 11:00 am with Rev. David Ashbrook, of Maximo Zion Church, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
