Millard C. Estabrook's Obituary
Millard C. Estabrook, 83, of North Benton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2003. Born July 22, 1919 at Lafayette, Ohio, to Milan and Alice (Heidt) Estabrook, he spent most of his life in Deerfield, Atwater, Alliance, and North Benton. A 1937Atwater High School graduate, Mill spent three years in the U.S. Army in World War II, serving 31 months overseas in Africa, Sicily, Italy and France. He was discharged in 1945 with the rank of master sergeant. He retired in 1984 from the teamster's union as an owner-operator steel hauler. Survivors include five nieces and nephews; his close friends and caregivers, Sandy Jozwiakowski and Rhoda Mayle; and other friends. Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife of 50 years, Pauline. Graveside services will be held at Atwater Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Chester Bryant, officiating. There are no calling hours.
