Mildred V. Sina's Obituary
Mildred Sina, 84, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at 1:55 a.m. at her home. Mildred was born in Crooksville, OH, on October 25, 1921, and lived most of her life in Alliance. Mrs. Sina and her late husband, John, owned Jerry s Tavern and were co-owners of Amser & Sina Plastering Contractors. She is survived by five daughters, Fay (Tony) Montini, Mary Ann Tuttle, Karen (Jim) Orzo, all of Alliance, Margaret (Don) Mosby of Homeworth, and Linda (Tim) Jarvis of Alliance; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John V. Sina on June 25, 1994 (they were married on October 19, 1940); her son, John Eric Sina in 1980; two grandsons; her parents, Harold and Mary Sands; and twelve sisters and brothers. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, March 17, 2006, from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Peters officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
