Michael Kozma's Obituary
Michael J. Kozma, 78, of Ravenna, passed away with his family surrounding him and went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 7:45 pm at his home in Ravenna.
Born on November 15, 1944 in Alliance, to Stephen and Rose (Syersak) Kozma, he lived in Ravenna most of his life.
A 1964 graduate of Alliance High School, Michael was employed at Tire Tread Development in Mogadore as a Tire Pattern Carver for over 20 years.
Michael enjoyed riding his motorcycles and driving his antique cars. He loved to go to the Hershey Swap Meet every year and received trophies for showing his antique cars. He also enjoyed growing plants and making wine. He loved fishing at night and spending time around the campfire with family.
Survivors include his three sons, Stephen (Angela) Kozma of Lake Milton, Craig (Michelle Reichlin) Kozma of Amherst and Jason (Crystal) Kozma of Atwater; nine grandchildren, Autumn (Austyn) Shelton, Lucas Kozma, Zachary (Austin) Kozma, Jacob (Samantha) Kozma, Ashley Kozma, Reese Kozma, Pierce Kozma, Anthony Podojil and Isabella Kozma; and one great-granddaughter, Savannah Kozma.
Preceding him in death were his father, Stephen Kozma; his mother, Rose Kozma Spies; and his sister, Stephanie Rose Kozma.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, with Pastor Brandon Wilbur of New Hope Church of God, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
