Michael Bentley's Obituary
Michael Bentley, 77, of Massillon, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 3:00 pm at his home in Massillon, Ohio.
Born on November 28, 1946 in Pontiac, Michigan moving to Canton in 2010.
A veteran of the Vietnam Era, he served our country in the U.S. Army.
Michael was a mechanic, working at M&J Auto Repair Service in Michigan.
Michael enjoyed working on cars, riding motorcycles, fishing, horseback riding, and participated in civil war re-enactments.
He proclaimed to be “A Jack of all trades and a Master of none.”
Surviving relatives are his wife, Jeanette Bentley of Massillon; his son, Ronald Tucker, Jr. of Michigan; daughter-in-law, Ida Tucker of Canton; six grandchildren, John Purvis, Ronald Tucker III, Roman Tucker, Richard Scheiber, Kate-Lynn Tucker and Dylan Purvis; seven great-grandchildren, Andrew Cheatem, Liam Scheiber, Richard Scheiber Jr., Forest Scheiber, Emma Scheiber, Azmerelda Lindstrom and Addison Lindstrom.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Joseph Tucker; and a daughter, Tammy Newton.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
