Maxine Sarah Nolan 's Obituary
Maxine Sarah (Dietz) Nolan, 87, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 6:20 pm at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.
Born on November 13, 1931 in Akron, Ohio to Paul and Esther (Sterringer) Dietz, she lived in Alliance most of her life.
A 1948 graduate of East Palestine High School, Maxine was a member of Alliance First Friends Church.
Maxine was employed at Genie Corporation as a Technical Advisor and retired in 1997 after 10 years of service.
Maxine was a Master Sketch Artist and Renaissance Painter and won numerous art show awards. She was also an art teacher to many students in the Alliance area.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey M. Nolan of Canton; sister, June Fenlon of Hewitt, TX; granddaughter, Jodi Leffler of Hudson; a niece, Sheila Hoaglan of Hewitt, TX; two great-granddaughters, Decklynn Leffler and Lily Leffler.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Esther (Sterringer) Dietz-Rish; her father, Paul Dietz; a son, Joseph Nolan, III; and a brother, Paul Dietz, Jr.
There will be no Funeral Services per Maxine’s request.
