Maureen F. (McGuire) Baddeley's Obituary
Maureen F. (McGuire) Baddeley, 63, of Alliance, died on Thursday, July 13, 2006, at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Massillon on May 24, 1943, she had lived in Alliance all of her life. A 1961 graduate of Alliance High School, Maureen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She had participated in many of the church's activities and functions over the years. Mrs. Baddeley retired from the Marlington Local School District after 30 years of service, where she had driven many children to and from school on her bus. Maureen enjoyed traveling with her husband Tom and also liked to garden and read. She leaves behind her husband, Thomas T. Baddeley, whom she married on September 16, 1961; four daughters, Pamela (Kevin) Serafine of Lodi, Eileen (Timothy) McCaulley of Massillon, Marjorie (Randall) Johnson of Atwater, and Jane (Daniel) Rohr of Alliance; twelve grandchildren, Mitchell, Marty & Matthew Serafine, Valerie, Daniel & Shaun McCaulley, Heather, Ryan & Jacqueline Johnson, and Amber, Daniel & Spencer Rohr; a sister, Beulah Garvin of Alliance; and a brother, Larry (Debi) McGuire, Sr., of Carrollton, Ohio. Preceding her in death were her parents, Frank "Bud" and Leota (Selig) McGuire. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, July 16, 2006, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, July 17, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
