Mary Watt's Obituary
Mary Watt, 86, of 350 S. Arch Ave., Alliance, died on Monday, January 28, 2002, at 8:53 p.m. at the McCrea Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Alliance on August 1, 1915, she had lived in the Alliance area for all of her life, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Watt was previously employed at the Alliance City Hospital and the Rodman Public Library, and was a caregiver and homemaker to her grandchildren. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Patrick R. and Marci J. (Miller) Watt; her stepdaughter, Judi Beechy; her grandchildren, Kelly Miller, Amy Watt, Tim Miller, Clipton Miller, Stanley Miller, Penny Beechy, Michael Beechy, and Abby Beechy; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert J. Watt; her parents, John and Theresa (Walsh) Hagge; brothers, John, Joseph, and Robert Hagge; and a sister, Elizabeth Pinkerton. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel on Friday, February 1, 2002, at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Fr. Leo Wehrlin, officiating. There are no calling hours. The Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
