Mary D. Trunzo's Obituary
Mary D. Trunzo, 87, of Alliance, died on Monday, August 9, 2004, at 2:10 a.m. at her residence. Born in Malvem, OH, on October 31, 1916, Mrs. Trunzo lived in Alliance most of her life. Mary enjoyed her church activities and membership at the Trinity Gospel Temple and Canton Christian Fellowship both of Canton. She was past president of the former Ladies of the Christopher Columbus Society. She and her husband, Frank, were owners of the former Ohio Dry Cleaners on East Main Street for over 30 years. She is survived by two daughters, Celeste (George) Gainor of Alliance and Rose Conrad of Columbiana; a son, Anthony (Teri) Trunzo of Alliance; four granddaughters, Gina Gainor Long, Marifrances Conrad McKinnon, Jessica Rosa Trunzo and Juliana Maria Trunzo; two grandsons, George Michael Gainor and David Andrew Conrad; a great-grandson, Zachary Gainor; two sisters, Janet Wagner of North Canton and Adeline Ferrito of Euclid; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Trunzo on March 19, 1998 (they were married on September 7, 1940); her parents, Thomas and Rose (Godino) Romano; one sister; six brothers; one niece; and three nephews. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Cameneti and Rev. David Conrad officiating. A private interment service will take place at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Malvem.
