Mary Josephine Taylor's Obituary
Mary Josephine Taylor, 79, of Alliance, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 28, 2002. She was born on September 28, 1923 in Muskegon, MI to Fred and Helen (Swenar) Fetterhoff. She was raised in Alliance by Edward and Josephine Holt. Mrs. Taylor worked for D-Con and Royal China, retiring in 1978. Due to her generous nature and love of children, she babysat for many families in the area. She had a love of gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, William P. Taylor whom she married on June 28, 1944; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Tom and Karen Taylor of Alliance, son and daughter- in-law, William Bill and Kathy Taylor of Buena Park, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and George Binius of Alliance; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five sisters, Sr. Martha of Michigan, Helen Rasmussen of Illinois; Esther Schulz and Martha Q'Barr, both of Florida, and Jo-Ann Lollis of California; four brothers, William and Raymond Holt of Virginia, and Thomas and Gerald Holt of Maryland. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 2, 2002, at 8:00 p.m., with the Rev. Rebecca Inherst, officiating. Friends can pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
