Mary Stamm's Obituary
Mary Stamm, 79, of 33 S. McKinley Ave., Alliance, died on Sunday, January 27, 2002, at 8:22 p.m., at her home. Born in East Palestine, Ohio, on February 22, 1922, she had lived in the Alliance area since 1939. Mrs. Stamm had been active with the Salvation Anny and was a member of their Home League. Survivors include a daughter, Grace Cobbs of Alliance; a son, Harry Carter of Alliance; four grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Harroff of New Waterford, Ohio. Preceding her in death were her parents, Elmer and Grace (Heaton) Harroff; her husband Carlos Stamm in 1994, (whom she married on Oct. 11, 1952); and a brother, William Murray. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 30, 2002, at 11:00 a.m., with the Major Cathryn Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 29, 2002, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
