Mary R. Sineri's Obituary
Mary R. Sineri, 81, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at 9:45 a.m. at McCrea Manor. A lifelong resident of Alliance, she was born on October 31, 1921, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Sineri was the owner and operator of the former South Linden Market for 12 years and retired in 1994 from the housekeeping department at Crandall Medical Center. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John A. and Chris Sineri of Alliance; two granddaughters, Jennifer Ruth and Jaclyn Sineri; two great-grandchildren, Christian R. Ruth and Olivia A. Ruth; a sister, Frances Caruso of Alliance; two brothers, Joe Igro of Sebring and Anthony Igro of Edison, NJ; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Sineri on January 30, 1978, (they were married on June 26, 1948); parents, John and Cona (LaMonica) Igro; two sisters, Anna Deack and Sophi Pusateri; and one brother, Frank Igro. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, May 31, 2003, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, May 31, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
