Mary Ann Rudolph's Obituary
Mary Ann Rudolph, 77, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 6:45 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born on February 26, 1936 in North Benton, she lived in Homeworth most of her life and was a 1953 graduate of Sebring High School. She was a member of Middle Sandy Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Mary Ann retired from the Robertson Heating Supply, where she was employed as a secretary. In her past-time, she enjoyed attending West Branch athletics and the Cleveland Indians. Her greatest enjoyment was going to Mountaineer and visiting Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Survivors include her husband, Roland Rudolph whom she married on July 29, 1956; two sons, Richard (Cindy) Rudolph of Springfield Twp. and Brian Scott (Melissa) Rudolph of Alliance; five grandchildren, Richard Jr., Kathy, Dalton, Shannon and Ashley; two great-grandchildren, Trenton and Hunter; three sisters, Dorothy (Melvin) Oyster of Alliance, Catherine Taylor of Marlboro and Marilyn Bash of Florida; a brother-in-law, David Legros of Alliance; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles and Anna (Haines) May; a sister, Marjorie Legros; and brother-in-law, Ray Bash. The family would like to thank Alliance Community Hospital, Alliance Visiting Nurse and Hospice. The family will receive friends at Middle Sandy Evangelical Presbyterian Church on Saturday, June 8, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Her memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Tom Sawyer officiating. Private interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, 1000 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
