Mary V. "Ginny" Raga's Obituary
Mary V. "Ginny" Raga, 63, of Sebring, died at her home on Saturday, August 28, 2004. Born in Alliance on December 27, 1940, she lived in the Alliance area all of her life. Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was active in their Youth Ministries and also served as a Eucharistic Minister. Mrs. Raga obtained her LPN license at the Ohio State University and was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Copeland Oaks for many years. She continued to volunteer at Copeland Oaks in the Activities Department following her retirement. Mary had an interest in arts and crafts and had entered several of her creations at local fairs. She is survived by her husband, Robert Raga (whom she married October 1, 1960); three daughters, Florence (Rex) Hallett of Alliance, Donna Raga of Akron, and Robbin Davis of Alliance; 4 grandchildren, Jessica Hallett, Nicole Davis, Jacob Hallett and John Michael Davis; a sister, Cora Glasser of Lexington, SC; and a brother, Charles Noble of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bessie (Haidet) Noble; and a sister, Tonia Noble Dowdy. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
