Mary Jo Raga's Obituary
Mary Jo Raga, 73, of Beloit, died on Sunday, August 7, 2011, at 7:40 p.m. at Select Specialty in Mercy Medical Center. She was born on June 10, 1938 in Alliance and lived in this area of her life. Mary Jo was a graduate of Alliance High School and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring. She enjoyed quilting and making dolls. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Raga, whom she married on March 15, 1955; three daughters, Cynthia Marie Bullock of Beloit, Cathleen Rae Meyers of Sebring and Christine Kay Smith of Beloit; two sons, Ronald A. Raga of Beloit and John L. Raga of Damascus; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly (Robert) Thompson of Pennsylvania and Donna (Steve) Hutmacher of Alliance; three brothers, Charles (Mary) Fotheringham of Salem, John (Vicki) Fotheringham of Maximo and Dennis (Wanda) Fotheringham of Alliance; and several nieces, nephews & cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles and Yolanda (Danesi) Fotheringham; a sister, Jerrie Hall; and several aunts & uncles. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11, 2011, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring on Thursday, August 11, 2011, at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Matthew M. Mankowski, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
