Mary Lou Craven's Obituary
Mary Lou (Weber) Craven left this world to be re-united with her heavenly family on Sunday, February 10, 2019 following an extended illness.
Born on June 2, 1951 in Alliance, she graduated from Alliance High School and earned an associate degree from Kent State University.
She was strong, stubborn, funny, kind, and forgiving.
Mary Lou dedicated her life to taking care of others, no matter the sacrifice. She endured many loses over the years, however, she always looked forward to the day when she would rejoin her loved ones, while cherishing those who were still with her.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Marie Weber; her husband and “the love of her life” Cliff Craven; her special angel daughter, Jennie Poteet; her sons Billy Poteet and Kip Craven; and her brother, Jack Weber.
Survivors include her son, David (Dannette) Poteet; 10 grandchildren, whom she loved dearly; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Debbie Tenaglia; a brother, Richard (Lynn) Weber; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Rev. Dale Gruver, of the First Church of God, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made choice of the donor.
