Mary E. Kiser's Obituary
Mary E. (Johnson) Kiser, 81, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord and join her husband in Heaven, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 8:30 pm at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.
Born on August 27, 1943 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to Glenwood and Lena Johnson, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
She loved supporting her husband while he was in the ministry at Penn Street Freewill Baptist Church.
Mary enjoyed wallpapering and decorating her home, collecting glassware and antiques, and thrift store shopping. She especially loved her children and her grandchildren who were her life.
Survivors include her three daughters, Lena L. (Jeff) Stoffer of Minerva, Stephanie L. Loving of Alliance, and Stacy R. (John) Kent of Alliance; her son, Huston E. (Kristen) Kiser of Sebring; thirteen grandchildren, Huston Kiser, Jr., Nicole Eaton, Joshua Kiser, Cody Kiser, Jim Bruce Dowdell, Jordan Stoffer, Dylan (Briawna) Stoffer, Abby (Cole) Maley, Otha Loving, Jr., Luke Loving, Emily (Derek) Weisent, Ethan Kent and Elijah Kent; seven great-grandchildren, Daniel Eaton, Aleah Kiser, River Lee, Weslyn Belle, Aurora Nova, Ari Loving and J.J. Loving; four brothers, Dude (Sue) Johnson, Charles Johnson, Jerry (Linda) Johnson and Keene (Linda) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, George Kiser, who passed away in February of 2008; her son, Harvey E Kiser; her parents; and two sisters, Helen Maggard and Magdalene Adkins.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Pastor Jay Hill, of Paradise Church, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
