Mary A. Felice's Obituary
Mary A. Felice, 94, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at 8:15 a.m. at Crandall Medical Center. Born in Italy, on May 23, 1909, she had been a resident of Alliance since 1921. Mrs. Felice retired as an assembler from the Alliance Manufacturing after 23 years of service. She had been a Pink Lady at Alliance Community Hospital for many years and was a member of the Alliance Community Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and a former member of the Regina Coeli Senior Club and the Altar & Rosary Society. She was a former member of the Mortgage Heights Social Club and the former Ladies of the Christopher. She was also a past member of the Alliance Senior Citizens Center and a charter member of the Alliance Chapter of the AARP . Survivors include a daughter, Connie Garman of Sebring; two sons, Donald F. Felice of Alliance and James Felice of Chicago; two sisters, Madalyn Chap low of Long Beach, CA, and Dorothy Harbour of Escondido, CA; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank F. Felice on October 8, 1974 (they were married on July 14, 1927); her parents, Ralph and Jenny (Rizzuto) Mauro; a sister, Vera Kerr; two brothers, Sam Mauro and Dominic Mauro; and a granddaughter, Elena Garman Bush. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, August 1, 2003, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Regina Coeli Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Leo Wehrlin, as celebrant. Internment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
