Mary Agnes "Mayi" Eskay's Obituary
Mary Agnes "Mayi" Eskay, 83, of Alliance, died Friday, February 14, 2003, at 1:07 a.m. at Community Care Center. Born in Alliance, on August 14, 1919, she had been a resident of Alliance most of her life. She was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. and the Altar & Rosary Society. Survivors include her husband, Francis A. Eskay whom she married on April 26, 1941; four daughters, Corenne Eskay of Alliance, Susan & Bob Platt of North Canton, Kathy E. &Wynn Feess of Alliance, and Karen & Jim Moseley of Alliance; two grandchildren, Kyle Feess and Courtland Moseley; three brothers, Norman Peters, Francis Peters and Joe Peters, all of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Albert and Cora (Orsinger) Peters and three brothers, Robert Peters, Ed Peters, and John Peters. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, February 16, 2003, from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Regina Coeli Catholic Church on Monday, February 17, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. J. Patrick Manning as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
