Mary (Viola) Calladine's Obituary
Mary (Viola) Calladine, 83, of Alliance, died unexpectedly in her sleep on Friday, April 28, 2006, at her home. Born on January 24, 1923 in Alliance, Mary had been a life-long resident. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Mary had retired from Coastal Pet Products after many years of service. She was one of their first employees. Her favorite pass-time was taking care of her flowers and the love of her life was her family. She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl & Larry James of Alliance; her son and daughter-in-law, Ray & Maria Calladine of Alliance; three grandchildren, Brian Calladine, Lisa Vitale, and Lori Worsencroft; seven great grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; a sister, Erma (Skivolocke) Muntean of Alliance; a brother, Donald (Patti) Viola of Riverside Calif; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband, Arthur R. "Bud" Calladine, on November 29, 2004 (they were married on June 28, 1947); her parents, Pasquale and Angelina (DePersico) Viola; a great-grandson, Richie Buffington Vitale; and her sister, Jennie Sarchione. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Kevin Simpson, officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum.
