Mary Louise Breiding
1937-2016
It is with much sadness we share the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Mary Louise Breiding, 79, of Louisville. She passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Aultman Hospital after a sudden illness. Mary was born on May 23, 1937 to her parents Geneva (Brown) and Paul Rosia. She was a lifelong devout parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maximo.
She was a passionate and deeply committed wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family second only to God. She was a talented and creative quilter, sewer, and hand crafter. She made beautiful hand crafted Christmas ornaments each year for her 9 grandchildren that they will forever adore.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, James; three daughters and son-in-laws, and nine grandchildren: Tammy and Walt Shearrow of Lovettsville, Virginia, their children Sarah and Jonathan; Lisa and Terry Duerr of Lousiville, their children Anthony, Elizabeth, Maria, John Paul and Joseph; and Cindy and Steve Viscounte of Lousiville, their children Alyssa and Leaha. Mary is also survived by two brothers and their wives: Paul and Mary Ellen Rosia of Clearbrook,Virginia, and Tom and Mary Rosia of Hamilton, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Eileen Brooks and brother-in-law Harold Dean Brooks.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maximo. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maximo.
