Mary Jane (Neel) Bingle's Obituary
Mary Jane (Neel) Bingle, 90, of Alliance, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 7:15 pm at Bel Air Senior Living Community. She was born on May 19, 1924 in Bayard, Ohio to Clyde and Clara (Knutti) Neel and lived in Alliance for most of her life. She was a 1941 graduate of Augusta High School. Mary retired from Bank One after many years of service. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and of the United Methodist Women, Hazel Spence Circle and had been a Liturgist. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Pleasant Valley Chapter# 216 in Hanoverton, for over 50 years. She was a member of the Alliance Area Senior Center and was a member of the Senior Chorus. Mrs. Bingle had also volunteered at Alliance Community Hospital in the Surgical Waiting Room. Mary is survived by her daughter, Donna K. (Tim) King of Alliance, OH; two granddaughters, Danielle R. (Michael) Lamphier of Winston-Salem, NC, Kelly M. (Matthew) Takacs of Greensboro, NC; grandson, David N. (Tonya) Penturf of Alliance, OH; six great-grandsons, Nicholas Lamphier, Connor Lamphier, Griffin Lamphier, Jack Penturf, Adam Takacs, and Ryan Takacs; sister, Catherine Davis of Zephyer Hills, FL; brother, Richard Neel of Hanoverton, OH; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bingle, whom she married on March 19, 1983 and died on July 6, 1995; and her parents, Clyde and Clara Neel. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Her Funeral Service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 11:00 am, with Pastor Steve Rhodes, of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
