Mary Armerbaugh's Obituary
Mary Armerbaugh, 87, of Alliance, died on Sunday, June 16, 2002 at her home. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on August 4, 1914, she had lived most all of her life in the Alliance area. Mrs. Armerbaugh was a member of the Beechwood United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Alliance Art Center. Retiring from Cope Furniture after many years, she then was a cook for the YWCA. Survivors include a sister, Helen Fox of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Clarence Armerbaugh who died on August 8, 1979, they were married on January 16, 1935; her parents, Charles F. and Gertrude V. (Stump) Renz; three sisters, Ruth McFall, Elva Baker and Fay Bowman; and a brother, Charles Renz. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19, 2002 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, June 20, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Scott Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the West Beech Cemetery.
