Martha J. Salaski's Obituary
Martha Salaski, 90, of Alliance, retired from life on earth on June 17, 2017 at 5:30 pm. Promoted to glory, she left Altercare of Alliance and entered Heaven where she was joined by our Savior, Jesus Christ, and all of her relatives and friends who rose up before her. Born on January 10, 1927 in Alliance, Ohio to Fred and Elsie (Keyser) Lare, Martha lived in Alliance all of her life. A graduate of Alliance High School, Martha was employed at Alliance Manufacturing Co. as an assembler and retired in 1989 after 30 years of service. Two of her favorite things in life were her flowers and her cats. Oh, how she adored her feline friends! She also loved the time she spent in Arizona, California, Nevada, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Florida. Survivors include four children, John W. Salaski, Cindy L. Salaski, David G. (Kathleen) Salaski and Darrell L. (Tricia) Salaski, all of Alliance; three grandchildren, Zana Fisher, Chassidy Salaski and Dillon Salaski; a great-granddaughter, Hailee Jane Fisher; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; four sisters, Zelda Weber, Fama Fleming, Dorothy Stephenson and Wilda Bahler; and four brothers, Henry Lare, Russell Lare, Orvan Lare and Kenneth Lare.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Marlboro Cemetery Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Marlboro Cemetery.
