Martha H. Price's Obituary
Martha H. (Frank) Price, 99, of Alliance, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:35 pm at Bel Air Senior Living Community in Alliance, Ohio.
She was born on August 19, 1916 in Alliance, Ohio to John P. and Isabella (Samblanet) Frank.
Martha was member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and lived in Alliance until 1956, moving to Florida where she resided for 50 years. She returned to Alliance in 2006.
She had previously been employed at the former Spring & Holzsworth Co. in downtown Alliance and worked in the testing house at American Steel during WWII. Martha had worked at Sears in Alliance and in Orlando, Florida where she had retired.
She liked to travel, enjoyed flower gardening and sports, especially basketball.
Survivors include step-daughter, Patty (Kenny) New of FL; step-son, Jack (Mary) Price of GA; three grandchildren, Mitchell (Angela) Price, Angela (Chris) Recker, Christy (Michael) Breit; four great-grandchildren, Michael Breit, Courtney Breit, Wyatt Price, Sawyer Price; three sisters, Jean Frasher of Alliance, OH, Agnes Bedford of Alliance, OH, Marie Kovacic of Alliance, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Joseph Edwin Price, whom she married on April 2, 1977 and died on December 21, 1993; her two sisters, Lucille McIntee and Hilda Violand; four brothers, Cletus Frank, Roger Frank, Clarence Frank, Walter Frank; and her parents, John P. and Isabella Frank; .
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Regina Coeli Catholic Church.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at Regina Coeli Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Ruggieri, as celebrant. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
