Martha E. Hoffman 's Obituary
Martha E. Hoffman, 94, of Alliance, Ohio, and formerly of North Pekin, IL, passed away at 8:15 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015.
Martha was born on January 29, 1921 in Tazewell County, Illinois to John E. and Catherine Ollie Mae (Franklin) Klieber. She married Roy D. Hoffman on June 26, 1946.
Martha was a member of Creve Coeur Christian Church and Helping Hands. She is a former volunteer at Washington Christian Village.
Martha was an avid bowler and loved working with her flowers. She greatly loved her family and was truly a Proverbs 31 wife and mother.
Surviving are two daughters, C. Joyce Widmer of N. Pekin and Connie (Rev. Larry) Grow of Alliance, Ohio; four granddaughters, Lorrie Medearis, Amy Taylor, Abigail Grow and Hannah Grow; great grandchildren Ryan Widmer, Cassandra Keller and Philip Widmer, Michael Ratliff and Wesley Ratliff; and great-great grandchildren; Michele Widmer, Sarah Widmer and Ryan Charles Widmer, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred Klieber, Charles Klieber, Henry Klieber, Bob Klieber and Walter Klieber; and sisters, Catherine Ridgeway and Anna Marie Smith.
The family will receive friends at Henderson Funeral Home, 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin, Illinois on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the Henderson Funeral Home on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Larry Grow officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
